Back from Paradise

Our glorious 5 nights and 6 days in Mexico are over, which is bitter sweet. This was the first big trip we have taken the kids on, so we have made some wonderful memories which is sweet, however bitter because we had to come home, lol!  Jason has been blogging daily, however I'm going to blog about Mexico from my perspective. Not that Jason's is not great, it is and he has some amazing videos.  This may take me some time and a couple of days, so be patient I will get it done. Plus it's back to reality back to life.

Today started very early, 4am...which at first started at 3am for me because I set my alarm on my phone which I didn't use the entire trip so the time was still on Dallas time. I'm laughing at my self as I write this because when the alarm went off I jumped out of bed and screamed let's go, time to go and Jason said as he rolled back over "you have another hour Kristi, because it's only 3 so shut up!" :/ When we booked the trip we wanted an entire 5th day so we opted for a 7:15am flight  on the 6th day, no biggy right?!

Well everything went just fine..the kids were tired but jumped right up and we left on time and headed to the airport in the dark. Flying early ended up being very beneficial because this means no lines. The kids carried their suitcases on so as we went through the second security stop, the guard said "I need to check this bag", which was the pink princess bag, Camryn's. I will mention this at a later blog, but Camryn collected tons of shells and rocks.  He opened her bag and yep he pulled out the 2 big crystal rocks she took from the island we went to on Saturday.  Broke her heart, but she was a big girl and said "oh well". The guard kept saying he was sorry! lol

On the way back we had to sit on the back row because we wanted to be all together, which was fine because they slept the entire trip anyways.

We made it home and 7 loads of laundry to be done, so I'm going back to folding :O

Good night, below are some pics of paradise...enjoy!
